‘Dragonfly’

‘Dragonfly’ Original Painting 

I was lucky to spend some time this summer on the loughs in Fermanagh which thankfully are teaming with dragonflies and inspired this painting. 
In Irish mythology Dragonflies “abhainn dubh”
are said to be able to help humans to see beyond the illusion of this world and into the realm of the spirits. The dragonfly is a symbol of change and transformation.
